At Faye Robinson Interiors we take a holistic and considered approach to interior design. We use our technical know how to maximise the space and create beautiful interiors.

Our design work scope will vary depending on the specific project requirements but can include items such as lighting design layouts, technical drawings, joinery drawings, rendered elevations, specification boards and 3D CGI visuals. Our detailed design packs are split into key stages and designed to give our clients an overview of the proposed intent at each stage of the process. They are carefully structured so that they can be used as a tool to aid costing, procurement and installation, taking our beautiful plans from paper and turning them into a reality.

We will source beautiful finishes and put together a cohesive and well thought out scheme meaning the space is designed correctly the first time and thus avoiding any costly mistakes.

The design process is a journey from concept to completion, all of our design work is produced in digital format and will sit alongside a physical curated client sample pack of specified finishes, fabrics and wallcoverings giving a full comprehensive design offering.

Client Brief & Concept

The first stage is understanding what your design aspirations are, how they will work in the space and what can be achieved. We will take the time to understand your requirements and review in line with the project parameters looking at the space as a whole, considering practical elements and budget as well as aesthetics. All our interior design schemes whether large or small start with a design concept. The concept stage will review spatial layout, architectural details and aesthetic intent in order to create a specific design narrative for your interior project which will underpin the overall design. The concept pack is the starting block of the design process which will visually communicate the intended look and feel of the finished interior, once approved we then move onto the more technical space planning stage and bring the concept to life.

Layout & Plan Drawings

Once we have established a design intent, we will review general furnishings arrangement, spatial planning and layout drawings using various design software packages. We look at indicative flooring and furniture layouts, consider any built in, bespoke furniture and review indicative lighting layouts. As we move on to the detailed stage of design we will then also produce key scaled elevation drawings and joinery designs as well as start to consider associated finishes and key design details.

Detailed Design

When the layout and aesthetic design intent of a space has been determined we then zone into each design aspect and work up in more detail. We look at decorative finishes, window treatments, confirm colour palate, bathroom and kitchen designs, furnishings and detailed joinery drawings. We will produce key rendered elevations and 3D visuals giving our clients a representation of what the finished space will look. In addition we produce specification boards detailing fixtures, furnishings and fittings proposed within the scheme.

Schedule & Specification

Finally once the design stage has been completed, we will condense all agreed design details into specification and schedules for costing through F R interiors.  All bespoke joinery and FF&E procurement will be confirmed and managed accordingly. We work with trusted specialist UK based manufacturers, upholsterers, cabinet makers and suppliers to ensure premium, quality products and finishes.  In addition we also have an experienced interior stylist who can style your space with our add on home styling service to expertly dress your beautiful new interiors to perfection.
